We want to inform the measures that we are putting in place to safeguard the health and safety of our students. This includes the social distancing and extra measures that we are implementing. Here are some of the most significant measures that we are applying to students when entering the dojo.

1) Only students are allowed inside the dojo. No parents or observers. The lobby/office area is close to any observer. No bags or personal property are allowed in the dojo. Students must come dressed from home. The back-room is close except for the use of the bathroom. Only one person at the time will be allowed. Each person will be assigned a 6' x 6'  area to maintain social distance. Each student must bring their own water bottle full. The water dispenser is not in use at the moment. Each person will keep his water bottle in their personal space. No share of water is allowed.

2) Students, parents, or any visitor entering the dojo must be wearing a face mask or face cover. Students must wait outside the dojo using social distance until instructed to enter one at the time. This is before each class. Students must wait until the dojo is empty. No one can wait in the lobby area. The bathroom is closed for non-students. Any person that removes his face cover during the time inside the dojo will be asked to step outside and not be allowed to return. If for any medical reason the person can not use face cover will not be allowed to enter the dojo.

3) The students must ask permission to leave the safety zone to use the bathroom. At the end of the class, the students will be instructed to leave one at the time. Same procedure to enter the dojo. All footwear will be sanitized at the door.

4) Students are only allowed on their designated class schedule.

****** These are not the only measures that we are implementing More can be added as they are needed. We want to clear that we listen to scientists and health care professionals, not politicians. Only if we considered safe, we would reopen. We all want to go to normal, but life will never be the same as before. We must adapt to a new normal until a cure is developed.

More information will be post soon......
